Terms of Service

Welcome to LifeVela ("we," "our," or "us"). LifeVela is an intelligent life management platform that helps you track your finances, habits, health, and overall life progress through a unified Life Score.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LifeVela application, website (lifevela.com), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

By accessing or using LifeVela, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the capacity to enter into this agreement.

LifeVela is built for India first. If you use it from elsewhere you are responsible for compliance with your local law, and we honour the data rights your jurisdiction grants you.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

LifeVela provides a comprehensive life tracking platform that includes:

Life Score: A daily 0–100 score calculated from your real activity across six life dimensions: Finance, Habits, Health, Fitness, Professional and Social.

Finance Tracking: Expense logging in rupees, SIP investment monitoring, net worth tracking, budget management, and festival budget planning.

Habit Engine: Daily habit tracking, streak management, and progress visualisation.

Health and Fitness: Sleep, mood, water intake, and workout logging.

Professional Development: OKR tracking, career milestones, and skill development.

Social: Connection and interaction tracking.

Forge: Daily planning and task management.

Vela: A conversational feature that reflects your own data back to you. Vela is not advice of any kind — financial, medical, legal, or otherwise.

Life Thread: A private journal. Life Thread entries are never sent to any AI model.

Calendar and Planning: Daily plans and event scheduling.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

To use LifeVela, you must create an account. You agree to:

- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. - Maintain the security of your password and account credentials. - Notify us immediately at support@lifevela.com of any unauthorised use of your account. - Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

- Violate any applicable laws or regulations. - Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content. - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts. - Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without written permission. - Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent. - Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation. - Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

LifeVela offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

Pro is available at ₹2,499 per year, inclusive of GST. Payments are processed by Razorpay and we do not store card details.

Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of initial purchase. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted to billing@lifevela.com.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the period ends.

Price Changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Nirvana Nikhilum Private Limited and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying software without our prior written consent.

Your privacy is fundamental to how we operate. Key commitments:

- We do not sell your personal data and we do not advertise against it. - Your Life Thread is never sent to any AI model. - Vela runs on Google Gemini, with OpenAI as a fallback if Gemini is unavailable, and receives only what is needed to answer you. - You can export your product data and delete your account and active product data, subject to the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy. - We are building toward DPDP Act 2023 obligations.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

LifeVela is not a medical device. The Life Score, health readings and anything Vela says are informational. They do not diagnose, treat or prevent anything. Health data shown to you is only as accurate as the device or service it came from.

LifeVela does not provide financial, medical, legal, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals before making financial or health decisions.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical failures.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Nirvana Nikhilum Private Limited and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. - Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. - Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. - Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination: - Your right to use the Service immediately ceases. - Self-service account deletion removes the account and active product data when the deletion workflow completes. Restricted backup copies may remain for up to 30 days; de-identified aggregate analytics and records required for security or law follow our Privacy Policy. - You may request an export of your data before termination takes effect.

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings then Account then Delete Account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana. We encourage you to contact us first at legal@lifevela.com to resolve any disputes amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
