Journal
Written for you. Read by no one else.
Journal entries in LifeVela are never read by Vela, never used to train a model, and never processed by any AI. This is not a setting you can change. It is how the journal works.
Entries stored, not analysed
When you write a journal entry in LifeVela, it is stored as a record in your account. It is not sent to an AI for analysis, not used to generate insights, and not processed to improve the product. The entry is yours and it stays that way.
The journal in the Life Thread
Journal entries appear in the Life Thread — a chronological record of everything you have logged. You can read back through your entries, see them alongside other log entries from the same day, and search your own record. No one else can.
Deletion is permanent
If you delete a journal entry, it is removed from the active product and cannot be recovered in the app. Account deletion removes your active journal records; restricted disaster-recovery backups expire on the retention cycle described in the Privacy Policy.
Sample interface — your view is built from what you log.
What LifeVela does not do here
LifeVela does not offer AI-powered journaling prompts, does not analyse journal entries for mood or sentiment, and does not use journal content to generate insights or recommendations.
Free includes everything. No card, ever.
